Policies

Payment:

For vacation/out of town reservations:

  • If the total is $50 or less one full payment is due within 24 hours of services being approved.

  • If a reservation is booked less than 5 days in advance, the full amount is due within 24 hours of booking.

  • For all other cases, we require a 50% deposit within 24 hours of services being approved, and the remaining 50% is due on the first date of service.

  • If extension of the contract occurs, full payment of the remaining balance will be due within three (3) days of Client returning home.

For recurring dog walks/potty breaks:

  • Full payment is due the Sunday before services start, the schedule runs Monday-Sunday.

 

Cancellations:

  • Cancellations may be made up to one (1) week in advance of your scheduled service for any visits outside of recurring weekly walks/potty breaks. If cancellation occurs within that time frame, FULL deposit will be credited to your account. If cancelling within one week of scheduled visit, Client is not eligible for any refund of original deposit, unless special circumstances are agreed to with LOLPC.

  • There is a cancellation fee of 100% of the scheduled visits for services cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled service.

  • Payment will not be refunded for your early return from booked dates. Our time is blocked to provide love and care to your furry family, restricting our ability to book time to care for others.

House Details:

  • Lots of Love Pet Care, LLC will not share responsibilities of pet care with any person outside of our company unless expressly agreed upon in writing. 

  • We must be informed if anyone has access to and might be at the home while you are away. This is for the safety of our staff and your pets.

  • We use key lockboxes that remain at your house, therefore we do not hold on to any keys, unless it is a secured apartment building. 

Inclement Weather:                                                                                                                       

  • In the case of inclement weather or a natural disaster, we may have to make adjustments to the schedule, but we will always ensure your pets are taken care of!

  • Snow removal/salting must be arranged to ensure the sidewalks and driveway is clear and safe for your pet sitter. If we cannot access your home due to unsafe conditions, we may choose to contact a snow removal company and bill you for the cost. We will also have to charge for any additional visits if we have to wait for the snow removal company and come back to your house later.
